I didn't get your photos, but I understand what you are asking and reached out to my tech contact at Lippert regarding your install of the Lippert Components Bolt-On Shock Mount Kit w/Heavy Duty Oil Shocks # LC281281. They said that inverting that top bracket may not allow the shock to fit properly so they can't advise to do that because they haven't tested it.
